 Walter and Ishmael try and disquise themselves in the snow...  A rest area outside Chicago: you can't read the sign on the rubbish bin, but it says "discarded cardboard heads." I was surprised when I saw this, but I guess the state of Illinois was ready for Ishmael and Walter!  New York City: Ishmael comes to life! A miracle!  Phew! What a long trip!
