The Ultimate Road Trip: February 2002

17 Days.
34 States.
10,124 Miles.
2 Cardboard Heads.

In February of 2002, area visionary Mopitus Adjessant undertook an enormous undertaking, capturing the entire undertaking along the way. Armed with a camera, a crowbar, and a bold little car named Abetmigo, Mopitus proved his vision through pictures and images. His friends Ishmael Lewmis and Walter Stemple would be his subjects, allowing their visages to be photographed in front of, amongst, and behind some of the country's most famous landmarks in the United States. It wasn't an easy journey; Mopitus encountered his first major obstacles when both Mr. Lewmis and Mr. Stemple, irrespectively, informed Mr. Adjessant that they would be unable to co-undertake this undertaking. Consequently, Mr. Adjessant was faced with a grave decision: give up his brave vision and hit the road solo, or scan photographs of Walter and Ishmael into his computer, print out the images, apply these images to cardboard with rubber cement, wait for the rubber cement to dry, watch TV for a bit, cut out the cardboard, and attach each head to sticks. It wasn't an easy decision, but Mopitus had seen it done before, a long, long time ago -- in the previous Millennium, in fact -- and knew that destiny was to forsee heads-on-sticks to be his companions...

The following is the story of the journey of these three miscreants. You'll see the ups, the downs, the arrests, the heavy drug use, the donkey clubbing, and of course, the truth. You'll see laughter, tears, blood, sweat, guava juice, concrete, and pink highways. So proceed with caution, ye who proceedeth!

Enjoy our story.

          Love,
             Mopitus.

Proceedeth...
