| This second Occifers season was recorded on the same night as the first one. Actually, there is a third episode that we never did...it's about the Occifers pulling over a planet that violates Kepler's third law of planetary orbits.
It's just that, after a while, the joke of a cop enforcing the laws of physics gets old. But who knows...maybe we'll see it sometime! The whole Reisman's Bagels reference is another high school joke between Sekshun and I (wow...do we ever grow up?!!)...well, not so much a joke as a place we visited once. We actually filmed an entire skit back in '98 about a transaction involving bagels and cream cheese. But I won't go into that. Oh, and the Pierre Summerton joke turned out funny as well. Pierre was a guy from grade school with Walter and myself...his last name was Summerton, but he insisted on emphasizing the syllable "-ton." You know, rhymes with "ton." But I don't think that Sekshun ever knew Pierre, because he didn't understand the inflection necessary here. But the way he said it turned out to be hilarious! Pretty much everything else you hear here I've talked about in my first commentary on Occifers. |
