Walter Reflects
on Lapdance
Well, let's get right down to it: I had nothing to do with this skit.

But, I did listen to it...once. It's funy, I remember this one time, Mopitus had given me a CD and said, 'oh, this is all the stuff we've done so far, just sort of compiled...oh, and a couple things that I've done too.' You know, so I didn't really think much of it. Well, I was listening to the CD, and it turns out that what he had just, you know, casually thrown together was 'Lapdance,' 'Vincent St. Hontwontiny's (Or, as it's known today, 'Elegance to Go' -- Ed.), and WebPhone, which I think are three of Mopitus' best works to date...and some of T. Bob's best works, for that matter.

This is a perfect example of Mopitus' style of writing..he's very quirky, sometimes even really slow-moving, but only because he has a lot crammed in there, and I think, so for a typical listener, it might be a bit boring to listen to, almost. But if you're really paying attention, and really got your mind tuned, there's a lot in there to discover. And I'm discovering things today.

Unfortunately, with all this cleverness and stuff all going on, 'Ow! My balls!' is still my favorite line. And delivered perfectly, I might add.

In listening to this skit, I think every single line has a joke in it somewhere...somewhere or other. But I think that it's worded so cleverly, that you don't necessarily pick up on it, and I think that's the real fun of Mopitus' style of writing. And this skit for that matter. Yeah.
