My style and creative approach has changed considerably over the years; whereas I once strived for realism and detail, I now find myself open to emotion and discretion; I once reached only for the pencil, and now find myself veering towards color and texture as a priority. I used to study my subject intently and try and capture its essence as realistically as possible; these days I tend to let the pen/brush lead the way, and harness my mistakes/innacuracies as opportunities to explore new creative ideas.
The works presented above are in no particular order, nor do they include all of my favorite pieces. Instead, I wanted to capture an overall snapshot of what inspired me most, and my different styles of interpretation.
